I thought I was fairly competant with my drugs but today I nearly took
2 Tramadol 200mgs. instead of 2 Paracetamol. Somewhere in the back of my mind I
thought "I don't take 2 at this time". Phew.
I have always had round orange "Zydol" in the past. This time I was given "Maroc",
just the same type of packet and size and colour as Paracetamol. Feel I must warn
the Pharmasist about this. I can see other people getting confused.

Ooh Anne - that must have given you a nasty jolt when you realised what you were doing. I keep all my meds in a plastic pill organiser, and fill it up on a Sunday for the entire week - I'd be in a real muddle if I had to remember it all each day, but even so I sometimes forget to take a dose.

hi anne,i got blood pressure pills and thyroxine mixed up,took too many blood pills, was a few days before i noticed,i was so tired i wasnt paying attention and they are about the same colour,mind you i got a strong lecture and full m.o.t from gp so it wasnt all bad and i was given a blood test then lower dose of thyroid meds,so scary at the time,now very very careful,dorothy
